Ages 18mo – 5
Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) programme provides a nurturing, play-based learning environment where children develop confidence, curiosity, and essential skills. Dedicated classrooms with direct access to outdoor learning spaces, including our baby pool for water confidence.
Ages 5 – 11
Following the National Curriculum of England and Wales, our Primary programme builds strong foundations in core subjects while encouraging inquiry and creativity. ICT is embedded from Year 1, and all textbooks are provided. Topic-based learning connects subjects in meaningful ways.
Ages 11 – 16
Students prepare for Cambridge IGCSE examinations, studying a broad curriculum that develops critical thinking and academic rigour. With 23 nationalities in the classroom, students gain valuable global perspectives. Weekly boarding is available from Year 7.
Ages 16 – 18
Our Sixth Form offers A-Level qualifications through Cambridge, AQA, and Edexcel boards, alongside BTEC Level 3 Business. Students benefit from dedicated common room and study facilities, university counselling, and partnerships with UK universities.
Beyond the Classroom
Learning extends beyond the classroom at BMIS. Our extensive co-curricular programme includes competitive sports, performing arts, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Model United Nations, and community service initiatives. Students discover passions, develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships.
